If your potential donor has never heard of the Oliva Fund give them a brief history Established in 2007 in honor of the Oliva Family of Milford, the Oliva Fund for Cancer Care assists
patients and families during their cancer treatment at Milford Regional Medical Center by helping to
offset daily living expenses such as transportation, groceries, or other personal support. Additionally, the
Oliva Fund supports programs at Milford Regional Medical Center that provide overall comfort and care
to our patients and their families. Your sponsorship investment will not only help ease the physical and
emotional stress of our cancer patients, it will also demonstrate that your business aligns itself with

Like many of us, I have been personally touched by cancer and the terrible effects it has on the afflicted
person as well as their family and friends. This year I’ve decided to do my part to help by raising money
for the Oliva Fund for Cancer Care at Milford Regional Medical Center. I will be participating in this
year’s Rugged Maniac 5K Obstacle Race this September. (If you are running in honor of or in memory of
someone, add it here.)
All the money I raise will go towards the WMRC Radiothon to benefit the Oliva Fund. The Oliva fund for
Cancer care was established by the Milford Regional Medical Center in August 2007 in honor of the Oliva
Family. Over the past 6 years the WMRC Radiothon has raised over $235,000 to support this fund!
I will be stepping out of my “comfort zone” to help support the expenses related to the comfort and care
of cancer patients being treated at Milford Regional Medical Center, the cancer center, as well as hospice
care. I am hoping you’ll sponsor me! My individual goal is $250.00

this horrible disease.
