Dorothy Hall Memorial Award for
Practitioner Excellence
Dorothy Hall Memorial Award for Practitioner Excellence
Dorothy Hall was the founding President of ATMS in 1984. In the formation of ATMS
Dorothy demonstrated enormous insight and courage which initiated the foundation
of the Australian Traditional Medicine Society. ATMS was founded with 7
practitioners and has expanded to be the largest natural medicine association in
Australia today with just under 12,000 members. With Dorothy’s insight for future
generations of practitioners it is appropriate that we formalise an award in her
