Old Business (from the August 30th 2006 CAPC meeting) Definition of an Undergraduate Concentration Nancy Kiernan from the Office of the Provost, was asked by Dr. Ruth Jones, for CAPC clarification regarding the definition of an Undergraduate Concentration. After a lengthy discussion about the phrase “one unit” as it relates to the definition of an undergraduate concentration, CAPC members suggested that perhaps the current definition could be simply clarified by suggesting that if courses are taken from several colleges the approval of each college Dean is required. The concentration, not the courses comes from one unit. Does this item require further action? Does CAPC want to vote to amend the definition of an undergraduate concentration? 5. Adjournment
