E procurement Workshop
E-procurement system is an online system, through which companies will be connected directly to
their suppliers and vice versa in the procuring of goods and services.
Through this e-procurement, Kenya’s Public Service seeks to embrace transparency, accountability
and prudent use of public resources to ensure Kenyans receive quality services and value for tax
payer’s money.
The finance department, procurement, ICT and D.V.C Administration and Finance appointed a team
that attended a 4 day workshop running from 15- 18 October 2014, dubbed E-Procurement
adoption to chart a way forward in the adoption of an e-procurement system for the University.
