COMMON COURTESY
There have been many conflicts with regards to forfeits. The rule book says the team should wait 15 minutes
and then you can call a forfeit. We feel you should give the other team the benefit of the doubt and wait ½
hour. Remember, you came to play pool and have a good time, not to win a forfeit.
If you know you are going to be late (traffic, weather, went to wrong bar, etc.) COMMON COURTESY
dictates that you please call the home bar & speak with the captain or one of the players and let them know.
Don’t assume the bartender will give the message, they may be busy. You have the locations phone numbers
on your schedules. Please use them.
Our by-Laws state: League play starts at 7:30, you only need 1 person present
to start playing. At 7:46 the 1st match is forfeited. At 8:01 the entire night is a
forfeited. Call your division representative and inform him. (Match play is
continuous, no waiting for another player to show up.
Hopefully this will eliminate hard feelings, anger, etc.
