Passion Project
Proposal
Welcome to your Passion Project Proposal! You’re reading this because you have a great
idea about Schoolhouse of Wonder. Or you’re about to get a great idea about
Schoolhouse of Wonder. Either way, we’re glad you’re here.
What is a Passion Project?
A Passion Project is a way for you to take your great idea, the one that is going to
improve programs at Schoolhouse of Wonder, and turn it into a reality. Do you have an
idea for a new field class trip? A new camp theme? A new camp activity, skill, or Growth
Ring to teach? GREAT!
A passion project is an independent project! While we are invested in the success of
Passion Projects, we likely won’t be able to offer much support. Proposals that are
approved will be funded for both your time and for supplies.
What do I need to do to get my idea approved?
Please answer the following questions with as much information as you can. Your project
has a better chance of being approved if it includes pricing for materials, visual aids if
applicable, a realistic and reasonable timeline, and a proposal that shows that you’ve
thought through and/or researched your idea.
What will happen next?
Proposals are reviewed on a rolling-basis. We will let you know as soon as we can. Any
combination of year-round staff, seasonal staff, and the board of directors may review
proposals.
What if I have a question?
For questions about proposal requirements or other logistics, please email
