HEAD OF PRODUCTION

Based in Surry Hills, Yakusan is a boutique, market leading brand experience agency
that specialises in the premium/luxury sectors. No two projects are ever the same;
we take a bespoke approach with every detail considered, giving our clients unique
campaigns to bring their brands to life.
Experiencing continued business growth, we are seeking a dynamic and super
talented Head of Production to lead our production and creative teams in the
delivery of outstanding brand campaigns, integrated services, experiences and
events for our enviable list of clients and brands.
Working with the Managing Director and Client Service Director you’ll help grow
new opportunities from Yakusan’s existing client base and new leads. You’ll lead the
creative charge from pitch and response to brief through to execution, ensuring that
all creative is lead by a clear strategic approach for the client’s brand and the brief.
Working with the support of the creative and production team, the HOP will ensure
that all ideas presented are feasible within budget and the project timeframe.
Our HOP will be a natural leader, supervising the creative and production teams
through their workflow and job trafficking, and overseeing projects from delivery
through to reconciliation. We like to make sure our best foot is always put forward, so
ensuring best practices are adhered to, keeping project standards and client
satisfaction levels high is essential.
Strong project financial acumen will play a large part in overseeing the project
financial process, including approval of estimates, monitoring budgets, and ensuring
teams regularly track time and associated costs so that projects meet a minimum
profit margin.
Managing a kick ass team, the HOP will be responsible for guiding and supporting
their creative and production direct reports, whilst allowing the team members to
use initiative and be autonomous. Having eyes wide open, you’ll love inspiring the
wider agency and our clients by sharing industry trends, great work in market and
proactively sharing ideas.
Accountable for ensuring strong client satisfaction you will consistently ensure we are
delivering beyond our client’s expectations. With strong strategic and creative skills
you will have proven success in converting new business and answering client briefs.
Part of the Yakusan exec team, our HOP will contribute to Yakusan’s strategic
planning and development, through reviews of business focus areas and driving the
agency’s key pillars. We have strong professional and personal relationships with our

The role would suit a highly experienced Executive Producer or Head of Production
with a successful track record in creative, people, client, financial and production
management. Relationship building, problem solving, pro-active resource planning
and the ability to adapt to shifting demands and priorities will be your strengths.
A strong creative backbone with an understanding of, and experience in, fully
integrated campaigns will be essential to be considered for this role, with a
background in events and experiential being required also. Experience in working
with alcohol brands is highly advantageous.
This role is full time and you will be required to work outside of traditional work hours
in activation periods from time to time.
