This may be listed as PACS Web or Centricity Web. The Centricity Web Browser screen will be presented Log in with your user name and password given to you during training. User Name: firstnamelastname (no spaces or full stops) Password: created during training To change the password, enter your user name and old password and then click ‘Change Password’. Enter your new password twice and click OK PACS Web User Guide Page 3 of 10 © IT Training – Royal Derby Hospital The main screen Once logged on, the main screen is displayed Ensure that the tab ‘All Studies’ is selected. Data is not files specifically under ‘All Patients’ or ‘My Patients’ Tip: The main menu will retain any filters set from a previous session – for example, if a hospital number is left in the Patient ID field, that Patient’s details will be shown when you next log on. To clear filters, select and delete. Then press the Enter key Selecting a record To select a record, type the hospital into the Patient ID field. Then press Enter The patient’s PACS records are displayed. Digital images are available for viewing via PACS No films available on PACS To view an image or series of images double click on the folder PACS Web User Guide Page 5 of 10 © IT Training – Royal Derby Hospital Controlling the image To ensure that the relevant icons are displayed, click on the Modality icon Select Modality Dependant to ensure that the icons displayed are relevant to the images that you are viewing Icons for Multiple images Icons for Single images Icons at the top of the screen Return to list of images for the patient Ruler - Distance between 2 points Previous/next worklist item Angle measurement tool View previous/view next Cob Angle measurement tool Single series, 2 vertical series, 2 horizontal images window level preset Reset viewing parameters ROI – Regions of Interest tool Pins the selected image Zoom options (use drop down arrow) Orientation (use drop down arrow) Start cine, pause and set cine speed PACS Web User Guide Display cut lines (CT or MRI) Page 6 of 10 © IT Training – Royal Derby Hospital Single image Multiple images PACS Web User Guide Page 7 of 10 © IT Training – Royal Derby Hospital Thumbnails The ‘thumbnails’ to the left of the screen indicate how many images are available to view in the series Each of the grey and blue dots indicate an image and the blue dots indicate the first, middle and last image, as displayed below the grid Each series has its own grid and thumbnail images Viewing Patient Information, Exam Info and Reports To view these, tabs are provided at the bottom of the screen below the image. To view these, click on to the tab required. The ‘Orthoview’ tab is for use by trained orthopaedic staff only and is used for selecting the correct size of prosthesis for joint replacement using templates.
