‫מטרות הקורס‬
‫הקורס מיועד להקנות ידע ושליטה בגישות ותיאוריות קלאסיות ומודרניות בתקשורת המונים ובעיתונאות‪ .‬הוא מקנה‬
‫יכולת להעריך מחקרים בתקשורת‪ ,‬בעיקר בתקשורת פוליטית‪ ,‬ולקבוע את טיבם ואיכותם באמצעות בחינה מעמיקה‬
‫של סוגיות אפיסטמולוגיות‪ ,‬תיאורטיות ומתודולוגיות‪ .‬הקורס יתבסס על קריאת חומר ביבליוגרפי שעוסק בסוגיות הללו‬
‫ועל ישומו למחקרים ספציפיים‪ .‬הקורס יכלול הדגמות של עימותים בין מדענים על תאוריות ומתודולוגיות כמו מסגור‬
‫(‪ ,)Framing‬קטלוג (‪ )Indexing‬ואפקט הסי‪.‬אן‪.‬אן‪.)CNN Effect( .‬‬

‫ג‪ .‬ניתוח פריט ביבליוגרפי אחד מקריאת הרשות באנגלית בלבד והצגתו בכיתה לפי תכנית הקורס‪ .‬בניתוח יש‬
‫להתייחס למטרת המחקר‪ ,‬שיטות‪ ,‬ראיות‪ ,‬מסקנות והערכה‪.‬‬
‫ד‪ .‬עבודה על אחד מנושאי הקורס או כתיבת חוות דעת על עבודה שהוגשה לפרסום‪ .‬בחירת הנושא והגישה טעונים‬
