I encourage you to be creative, but make sure you follow the assignment guidelines carefully. BEFORE you start, you need to make sure you know what all of the terms below mean, and how they process and digest the food that you consume. You should include all of the processes within your body that would help digest the food You may use the comic template provided by your teacher, or come up with your own The comic can be either in colour or black and white You can use pages 160-172 in your textbook, and any other resources that you have to help you Look at the rubric on the back to see how you will be evaluated. Aim for a level 5 on all categories. The comic must have the following elements: □ Comic must have a title. □ Comic book needs to be a minimum of 15 rectangles □ Your comic book needs to include drawings as well as text □ The journey must go through the following organs: mouth, esophagus, small intestine, large intestine, rectum. □ You must use (and underline or highlight in your comic strip) each word in the chart below at least once, and in the correct context.
