PRESS RELEASE Intra Calferol improves the calcium balance in poultry For broilers, layers and parentstock Intra Calferol is a welcome contribution to their health. Intra Calferol is a concentrated mixture of calcium, vitamin D3 and magnesium in a liquid form, which makes it easy to absorb by the intestines of the animal. Van de Vondervoort: "Health problems have a direct negative effect on the farmer's economic results. Less growth means less meat, less quality and less income for the poultry farmer. Broilers also tend to grow very heavy in their last weeks, which requires a solid skeleton and legs to bear their weight. Especially in this occasion, the use of Calferol is highly recommendable." Layers and parentstock need calcium to produce high quality eggs and healthy 'newborns'.
