The role holder’s responsibilities include: Delivering project analytical support and reporting tasks in line with agreed corporate processes and standards Supporting the Project Management Office and resources Providing targeted and timely reports on project activities Supporting quality assurance and testing activities Provision of support administering the Project Management Office Collaborating with business stakeholders to ensure accurate gathering of requirements Responsibilities 1. Conduct feasibility analysis including the assessment of new technologies and support the shaping of new work initiatives 2. Elicit, assess, prioritise and produce user requirements and process improvements including ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ process maps. Provide functional specifications and any other design documentation needed to ensure the successful specification of development requirements and verify that design meets the requirements. 3. Develop and maintain knowledge and understanding of the School, processes and systems to enable detailed analysis and methodical review of systems and business processes. Conduct gap and impact analysis and deliver recommendations for new processes and solutions in accordance with the School’s strategic objectives. 4. In collaboration with IT and associated Business Partners, ensure awareness and accordance with the base principles of PRINCE2 5. Liaise with Project Managers, monitor and report progress against plans and ensure monthly and ad-hoc reports are delivered to good standard. Maintain close contact with all senior stakeholders and interested parties. Deliver communication to support effective decisionmaking. 6. Monitor and evaluate quality standards to ensure they are adhered to in the PMO i.e. deliverables tracking 7. Validate system and user testing approach and acceptance criteria is met. Create test strategies, scenarios, scripts and data and perform and coordinate testing activities as required to ensure that proposed solutions meet quality expectations. 8. As required work collaboratively with other members of the team to deliver assigned work. 9. The appointment will be made on LSHTM’s Professional Support Pathway Grade 5 with starting salary in the range £31,376 - £36,018 per annum. Membership of the USS Pension Scheme is available.
