At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with
world renowned international OEM’s in industries such as material handling, construction and forestry
machinery. Bosch Rexroth is one of the world’s leading specialists in the field of drive and control technologies. Under
the brand name of Rexroth the company supplies customers with tailored solutions for driving, controlling and moving
industrial applications, factory automation equipment, mobile applications and renewable power generation.
Responsibilities:




Product development of our radial piston motor range to meet quality, performance and cost requirements for
a wide range of customers and applications.
Liaising with design stakeholders including customers and production staff to ensure a clear understanding of
requirements.
Generation of design concepts, specifications and problem solving to achieve optimal solutions.
Modification and creation of models and drawings to production standards.
Candidate Requirements:





Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar technical subject.
3D CAD Design and Drafting experience, preferably using PTC Creo.
Understanding of design and manufacturing considerations relating to steel and cast iron components and
assemblies. Preferably in a hydraulic environment.
Sound communication and presentation skills.
Proficient in MS Office suite.
The position will be reporting directly to the Drawing Office Manager and be 37 hours per week. The start date for this
role is flexible therefore can be negotiated further down the recruitment stage.
