Science Fair Project- Step 6 Conclusion How to write a conclusion… Write a statement that compares the hypothesis to the data and answers the Big Question (step 1). It will either prove or disprove the hypothesis, either of these is fine as long as you can explain using data. For example: My data shows that when a golf ball, a tennis ball, a baseball, and a ping-pong ball are dropped from the same height, the ping-pong ball bounces highest. The average height of bounce for the different balls is: ping-pong ball-75cm.; tennis ball-44cm.; golf ball11cm. and baseball-5cm.. The data supports my hypothesis.
