OBJECTIVES
q Given its current status as a Public Trading Body, the Office recognizes the need to
develop a more effective and improved service to secure the position of a financially
self-funding body. To realize this need, the Office must achieve the following objectives:
o More rapid finalization of estates administration.
o Improve and maintain a consistent system of debt recovery measures.
o Implementation of a computerized system for quick and accurate provision of data for
reporting purposes.
o Up skilling of its human resources.
o Re-introduce when appropriate a lending scheme to reduce and eventually cease
altogether the Office’s dependence on Government financial support.
