ABOUT US
Delaware Animal Services (DAS) is the community service and enforcement unit of
the Delaware Division of Public Health’s Office of Animal Welfare (OAW).
MISSION
DAS will make our Delaware communities safer for animals and the public through
the professional delivery of animal related services, innovative problem solving,
and cooperative partnerships.

requiring quarantine
• State-contracted sheltering partner (private 501(c)3)
• Accepts all animals rescued/retrieved by DAS
• Provides all medical, nutritional, behavioral, and
adoption/owner reunifcation services
