your own knowledge!
5) An open discussion on Sustainability Leadership, Sponsored by the
Environmental Caucus: Wednesday April 3rd from 5:00-6:00 PM,
Please note the location has been changed to: Cline Library, room 200 (second
floor, next to “special collections.”)
Recent developments in sustainability leadership on the Flagstaff campus, including
open positions for a sustainability coordinator in Enrollment Management and
Student Affairs, and for the Manger of the Office of Sustainability, provide NAU with
the opportunity to discuss and plan how the institution may best move forward with
the development and implementation of campus sustainability activities. We are
particularly interested in discussing with the campus and local community how these
positions, as well as other activities by the Environmental Caucus, can impact
sustainability on the Flagstaff campus.
We would appreciate your comments and hope you will be able to attend this
discussion.

6) The NAU Green Fund and Green Jacks are excited to announce upcoming
2013 Earth Week Events!
April 16th-27th, 2013 on campus.
The NAU Green Jacks and Green Fund are proud to host 2013 Earth Week! We are
really excited about the events and community participation.
Earth week kicks off with The ECO Fashion hosted by Residence Life on Tuesday,
April 16th, 6:00pm at Prochnow. Earth Week goes from April 16th until Saturday,
April 27th. Events range from service opportunities with AGWA, SSLUG, and the
Center for International Education to highlighting the accomplishments of students,
campus organizations, staff, and faculty at the Environmental Caucus Campus
Sustainability Awards.
A complete list of events can be found at nau.edu/earthweek. The Green Jacks will
be greeting participants at each event, giving out FREE Earth Week T-shirts, while
engaging students, faculty, staff, and community members to think critically and
engage in this year’s theme: “What’s your energy? Choose your Impact.” At each
event, the Green Jacks will have a banner, that serves as an on-going creative
expression of how people use their energy and make an impact on campus, in the
community, and in their daily lives.
The Green Jacks would like to thank all the volunteers who have helped make this
possible, as well as the following 2013 Earth Week collaborators: AGWA, SSLUG,
Residence Life, Center for International Education, Recreation Services, NAU Bike
Hub, Campus and Community Action Research Teams, CHEI, Sierra Club, ASNAU, the
Environmental Caucus, Office of Sustainability, Campus Dining, and a special thank
you to the NAU Green Fund for sponsoring this exciting week of events.
