A4866XB Swivel Cleat The A4866XB Swivel Cleat is a custom product and a direct response to a request from Olympic 49er sailors, Dylan Fletcher and Charlotte Dobson which went from concept to reality in just one week. The A4866XB Swivel Cleat gave our crews a major advantage. Charlotte Dobson told us, “It makes a huge difference, especially on the starting side. Sophie (Anderton) can uncleat the jib and adjust it from the front or the back of the boat really, really easily.” Hatch Covers Clean design and quality manufacture mark out the Allen Hatch Covers as a “fit and forget” product. Waterproof and robust, yet easy to open and close, the A1737, A1837 and A1937 are available in Black, Grey or White and diameters of 100mm, 130mm and 148mm. A.171 Aerovane Sailors need no longer have the irritation of different angles for port and starboard tacks when they look up to their wind indicator. A good wind indicator makes a tremendous difference to your sailing and the success of the original A..71 Aerovane led to calls for a larger version, designated the A.171, for bigger dinghies and sports boats. It is 250mm long with horizontal arms, which are linked to give identical port and starboard readings. A.439/A.539 Aluminium Through Deck Bushes Whether you are a boatbuilder or retailing to the retro fit market, the new Allen A.439/A.539 Through Deck Bushes represent a step up to the next level of durability and quality. Stronger, faster, smoother and easier to fit, they are made from anodized and PTFE treated marine grade Aluminium to ensure ropes run freely. Traveller Cars A4389TII and A4589TII A significant trend in the design Modern high performance sailcraft are using fewer shackles as rope strength improves and the demand for weight saving takes prominence. The new Allen Traveller Cars are reinforced with internal cross beams and are designed for use with the Tii range of tie on blocks to offer robust, lightweight track solutions for jib and main block cars. The 2017 Allen product launches promise stronger, faster, smoother and lighter fittings which are easier to fit and use.
