NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR CONSTRUCTION CONSTRUCTION SCHOOL RECRUITMENT FOR VARIOUS CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY SKILLS AWARD COURSES 1. Introduction: The Construction School operating under the auspices of National Council for Construction is mandated by the Government of Zambia to build capacity in the construction Industry. It is a grade one Technical Education and Vocational Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA) registered institution and member of the Association of Schools of Construction in Southern Africa (ASOCSA). The School conducts courses meant to bridge the scarce skills gap in the construction sector. The courses provided are intended for existing small and medium scale contractors, government institutions personnel, local authorities’ personnel, consulting firms, individuals and other stakeholders throughout Zambia. 2. Invitation: In order to increase the pool of technical skills and competence for persons engaged in the Road Construction sub sector, the school has received funding from Road Development Agency (RDA) through the National Road Fund Agency (NRFA) to facilitate capacity building of persons engaged in the aforementioned subsector. The School is, therefore, inviting suitable interested individuals, private companies, Government institutions, consulting firms, local authorities, etc to apply for the courses outlined below. 3. Grade 9 Certificate shall be considered for Steel fixing, Basic Paving Technology and Painting OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Application letters must be accompanied with the following documents: Certified copies of National Registration Card.
