First, a few words of context for BI at
Brookes
Characterised as:
Limited access to and trust /interest in management information on
students
Some well managed Business Objects reports – but almost all
Finance /HR. No integration / consistency with student info
Many ‘local experts’ in faculties using Excel etc.
OBIS (IT) struggles to get a clear, University-wide brief from the
faculties
Bottlenecks in my team
So what about tackling those barriers?
