United States History Dual Enrollment Research Paper Assignment: You will demonstrate your understanding of a historical question that is formed from an event in the first half of our study of United States History and the research process. Many college courses require you to submit a research paper and by completing this assignment, you are preparing for college. Requirements: The research paper must be between 1800-2100 words (not including the title page, source references and bibliography) and this is around 7 pages. This paper will include a title page (including your name, block, date and title), proper citations in MLA style and a bibliography. You must use at least 6 sources: 2 books, 2 Internet, and 2 “other”—software, periodicals, journal articles, etc. The final draft of the paper will be turned into turnitin.com. Topics: The topic of your research paper must be based on one of the historical questions below. The historical question that you choose is the question that you will answer in your research paper, based on your research.
