You may or may not know that I will be going to Haiti over my Spring Break this year. I am very excited about
the trip and looking forward to how God is going to use it in my life. I am also excited about watching to see
how God will use me and our team to make a difference in a very impoverished part of the world.
My church goes to Haiti every year to work with Pastor Leon Dorleans - a friend of ours in the Cite’ Soleil
community of Port-au-Prince. Cite’ Soleil is the poorest slum area in the western hemisphere where 400,000
people live within a 4 square mile area without sanitation, good water supply, adequate electricity, and in many
cases without shelter.
Here’s how you might be able to partner with me while I fulfill what God has called me to do in Haiti. The cost
of the trip is $1100. Would you consider making an investment in my life and in the work our church is doing in
Haiti by contributing toward this goal. If you can, any amount that you can give would be greatly appreciated. I
know that there are a lot of other things you may be giving money to at this time so if you can’t that’s not a
problem. But perhaps you could pray for me and ask God to use this trip in my life and in the lives of the
people I will work with in Haiti.
