Dragon City is a fun Facebook game made by Social Point. In this guide, we will
go over some beginner questions that you may have about the game. We will
discuss and teach you some basic concepts of how to get more and stronger
dragons, get more gold and food, level up faster, and breed exotic and rare dragons.
This is an introductory guide for beginners to quickly get the hang of the Dragon

Essentially, each dragon just attacks until one runs out of health. There is no way
to reduce the speed at which your dragon gets damaged, by increasing defense, for
example. Each type of Dragon varies in terms of its maximum health and its
resistance to certain types of damage, but once the dragon has been born, you have
no control over this.

The Aim of Dragon City is to breed, hatch and collect dragons, fight other dragons and win prizes.

Breed Dragons to collect, Unique, Rare and Legendary Dragons.







Hatch your unique eggs in the hatchery and place them in their habitats to earn gold. Each Dragon
earns different amounts of gold, the higher the level the more they earn so be sure to click their habitats
to collect. Also to make your Dragons earn more, use the boosts available after selected levels, there is
a boost for every habitat so make sure to use the maximum amount to earn more gold.
Build farms to grow food, to level your Dragons. The higher you level your Dragon, the more food it
requires so make sure to have plenty of farms, and to upgrade whenever possible.
Gems are rare and not so easy to get. Don't waste them, hold on to them to get important things like
Hatchery Upgrades to be able to hatch more eggs at a time, The Ultra Breeding Tree to be able to breed
two sets of Dragons at a time, and Island expansions to make more room for more Dragons. You can
obtain gems by completing goals, combat and completing pages in The Book of Dragons.
The Stadium and Combat is where the fun truly begins, Pick three of your toughest Dragons to fight
other Dragons and players to win those precious gems and gold. The more battles you win, the harder
they get so be sure to upgrade your Dragons attacks in the Training Centre whenever possible.

What can also helps your income are boosts. They are a good investment if you have some spare gold
(and a high level), and smartly placed they can make a huge difference.
The second way is to sell dragons.

Dragon Breeding in Dragon City is the main way of obtaining additional
dragons in the game. By selecting specific dragons to breed, you will
obtain dragon offspring based on their parents. However, there is specific
luck factor in the game such that same combinations may yield different

combinations and formula to create the dragon that you are looking for.

To expand for extra building area in Dragon City is pretty straight
forward. You can either spend Gem to purchase land area instantly, or
have enough neighbors and purchase the land with gold. Either way, you
will have to expand the land in Dragon City sooner or later to have more
land area for various buildings.

Combat is an important part of Dragon City if you want to earn enough Gold and
Gems to keep things moving in your city. The combat works based on a series of
strengths and weaknesses that each Dragon possesses Having built the Stadium,
you are then able to take part in combat tournaments. These involve you picking 2
or 3 dragons on your team, to fight against an opponent with the same number.
You take it in turns to have an attack. As you will see below, it is important to
pick a balanced set of dragons so that you have some that are strong against a
variety of opposition. You can fight in one tournament every 12 hours and can also
battle other players by selecting the Globe icon and choosing Combat World. You
can play in Combat World three times every 6 hours, so much more regularly than
the tournaments.
