ALQAMA EDUCATION & WELFARE SOCIETY MALEGAON 423203 NASIK, MAHARASHTRA ( INDIA) ANNUAL REPORT 2012-13 KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE TRAINING PROGRAMMES GIVEN BY THE SOCIETY. YEAR 2012 – 2013 Introduction of the society : The Alqama Education and Welfare Society Malegaon Dist. Nasik ( M. S ) Shop No.5 Opp. New Bus Stand, Malegaon Dist. Nasik ( M. S ) .The society has been registered on 06 / 02 / 1998 . It is registered under the society registration act 1860 and Bombay public trust act 1950 on 12 / 05 / 1998 and the registration No. is Maharashtra. 5190/98 Nashik - F 4907 / 98 ( Nsk ). & F.C.R.A. registered under F.C.R.A registration Act, 1976. Having Registration No. 083900073. 1. Diamond Girls Pre - Primary and Primary School : Diamond Girls Pre-Primary & Primary School is run by the society in which all the facilities are provided to the girls from slum area to make their all round developed .Total 500 students are getting educated without any admission fees. And the time of school is 12 : 30 pm to 05 : 30 pm. 2. Diamond Girls High School : Diamond Girls High School is run by the society in which all the facilities are provided to the girls from slum area to make their all round developed .Total 400 students are getting educated without any admission fees. And the time of school is 07 : 30 am to 12 : 30 pm. 3. Condensed Course of education for adult women programme. : In this Condensed Course better education is given to the women who are not educated and this course is run by the society in Malegaon Dist. Nasik. In this course the women above the age of 16 years which has not completed their education can continue through this course and it will be very helpful in future for women’s . 4. Diamond Creche Centre : Malegaon is the city of power loom where people a are totally Depended on it. About 80% of people are illiterate. So it is economically backward where women’s has also to work whole day, there is no one to look after their children and to care about their food. Keeping in view to all this problems. The society has organized the crèche centre. Where the society provides education along with nutrition food. The children are taught good manners. Children were benefited in which there are 10 girls and 25 boys in each batch. 5. Diamond Sewing Classes : Diamond Sewing Classes is run by the society in which all the Facilities are provided to the girls from slum area to make their all round developed. Total 30 students are getting educated without any fees. the time of Class is 04 : 00 pm to 06 : 00 pm. The main aim of the class is that the girls should not depended on others and stand on their own feet. They are getting knowledge about sewing and solve economic problem of their family. They are getting money through sewing cloths. This class provides training to the poor women for self employment through this centre and about 30 women’s were trained through this class. 6. Diamond Embroidery Classes : Diamond Embroidery Classes is run by the society in which all the facilities are provided to the girls from slum area to make their all round developed. Total 20 students are getting educated without any fees. The time of school is 04 : 00 pm to 06 : 00 pm. The main aim of the class is that the girls should not depended on others and stand on their own feet. They are getting knowledge about Embroidery and solve economic problem of their family. They are getting money through Embroidery cloths. This class provides training to the poor women for self employment through this centre and about 20 women’s were trained through this class. 7. Diamond Setu Classes : Diamond Setu Classes is run by the society in which all the facilities are provided to the girls from slum area to make their all round developed . Total 25 students are getting educated without any admission fees. The time of school is 03 : 00 pm to 06 : 00 pm. The main aim of the class is that the girls should not depended on others and they are getting knowledge. 8. Free of charges legal advises and assistances : A Mahila dakshyata samiti is run by the society in which the needy poor destitute, women are provided legal aid and brutality. This legal help is provided by the members of samiti are all ladies who are well known and reported lawyers. ( Advocates ) judges and doctors free of charge in the year 2012-13, 30 children’s, 110 women’s and total 140 people are benefited through this centre. 9. Aids Awareness programmes : The society has implemented aids awareness programmes by by which they were awarded against the effect of HIV/ AIDS and presentation from it through this shibirs 109 people were benefited. 10. Reading room and Children’s library : The society has established a reading room and library for children and women. It has been established for their students who are unable to bear the expenses of books along with education they get all reference books in the library. In the year 2012 - 13 near about 325 peoples were benefited in which 30 men, 55 women and 240 students are included. 11. Computer Training Center: To enable the students to come up with technological advancement, the society runs free typing training centers. The society runs computer training center through which many Students get trained so that they can become self dependent. In the year 2012-13 near about 60 students were trained. This computer center has provided training to poor students for self employment about 60 students were trained through this center. 12. Comsumers Right awareness Programmes : Societies arrange different types of programmes to aware people about consumer rights, which help them to purchase right, commodities and protect them from the fraud of traders. Through this shibir near about 50 - 60 people were benefited. 13. Tree Plantation Programme : The society has Taken Tree Plantation Program in Dhule and it was inaugurated by the hand of Shri Khushwa Sir CEO Dhule Zilla Parishad In this said camp the Khushwa Sir and the Member of the Society had given a speech on the Importance of tree Plantation on this earth and its benefits 14. Swadhar Yojna ( Scheme ) : Our Society is Running Swadhar Scheme which is approved by Central Government. the Women’s Such as Widows, destitute & deserted women’s ,Women Ex-Prisoners, victims of sexual abuse and crime. Homeless due to natural calamities like flood, cyclone, and earthquake mentally challenged women, women victim of terrorist violence etc. This Swadhar Scheme supports to address the specific vulnerability of each group of women in difficult circumstances through a Home based holistic and integrated approach Total 50 women’s are getting benefited by this scheme . 15. Health Awareness camp : The society has arranged health awareness camp in which Doctors and physicians has given a lecture on health, which were benefited for the people who attended the camp. They were informed about the good nutrition’s food and about the tablets which will make them healthy and will save them from diseases. 16. Urdu Diploma Course for Marathi speakers : This Urdu Diploma Course is run by Course the is Society. This Recognized by National council for Promotion of Urdu Language ( NCPUL ) , Ministry of HRD, Course Urdu Thought to In This Language the is Marathi Speakers so that, they could read and write Urdu Language very well, about 60 Marathi Speakers are admitted in this Urdu Diploma Course which is run by the society. 17. Jan Shikshan Sansthan Dhule : This Jan Shikshan Sansthan is Run By our Society. The main objective of This Jan Shikshan Sansthan (JSS) is to improve the occupational skills and technical knowledge of the neoliterates and trainees and to raise their efficiency and increase productivity ability. JSS is conceived as an institute for conducting skill up gradation in the areas of programmes of Non-formal, Adult and continuing Education programme s to disadvantage groups. JSS offers vocational and skill development programmes for neo-literates in both industrial / urban areas and in this year the 2160 beneficiaries were covered during the year.
