(John 17:1) These things Jesus spoke; and lifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, "Father, the hour has come; glorify Thy Son, that the Son may glorify Thee, (John 17:2) even as Thou gavest Him authority over all mankind, that to all whom Thou hast given Him, He may give eternal life. Eventually, the person will become a Christian. (Luke 5:10) and so also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Jesus told Peter if you love me, tend my sheep/flock.
· What does it mean to produce fruit for God/Jesus? It means to do better in your life and it means to teach others about God/Jesus.
· What does a deacon do? What ever the elders tell him to do. He might teach, or tend the church building yard, or visit sick people or order song books etc.
· How old does a deacon have to be? We don’t know but he does need to be married with at least one child. The deacons are younger than the elders.
