Managed a taskforce of 28 Officers, 56 JCO’s and 1040 Other Ranks with 360 load carriers and
90 buses to ensure logistics requirement for troops deployed in far flung operational areas (Apr

Coordinated bulk-breaking at railhead and arranged supplies' distribution in insurgency prone
areas/ line-of-control to sustain and support the troops deployed.
Streamlined entire supply chain management - procurement, warehousing, retail distribution and
inventory control relating to stores facility in various regions.
Drive vendor audit and vendor rationalization initiatives, ensuring continuity of supplies in right
quality on best commercial terms.
Optimize distribution cost of products by opting suitable mix of vehicles and enhancing
transportation efficiency through multi-model transportation system.
Manage integration and restructuring of financial resources. Anticipate the costs and plan
expenditure of financial resources for the execution of procurement tasks in the organization.
Rationalize the force of various professionals; provide intellectual leadership/ technical expertise
and overall implementation of the Human Resource Development and capacity development of
the unit.

administration, training, counseling and grievance handling of approx 3800 recruits at any given
time to include trades like clerks, store keepers, tradesmen etc (Aug 02 - Jun 04).
Managed 21 Officers, 48 JCO’s and 780 Other Ranks with 270 load carriers including training,
career development, counseling, grievance handling, planning and deployment to ensure
effective and efficient transport/ supply solutions to a strike formation (Jul 04 - Jun 05).
Responsible for supply chain management of dry rations / FOL as also tendering and negotiating
with vendors / suppliers for supply of meat group items, vegetables, fruits , potato, onion etc for
a strength of approx 1.5 lakh troops (Jul 05 - Feb 08).
Managed, trained, counseled and developed 16,000 NCC cadets across 8 NCC Battalions
spread over North Bengal & Sikkim (Mar 08 - Mar 10).
Map all India requirements of various inputs across all army bases, structured procurement/
distribution of budget, secured financial approvals and concluded supply contracts with qualified
suppliers.
Accountable for handling establishments under direct administrative control, which included units
dealing with large fleet of transport, logistics etc.
Overseeing security activities, ensuring information security while conceptualizing security plans,
identifying vulnerabilities and risks, deploying security protections, preparing disaster response
policies, safeguarding assets, liaison and coordinating with law enforcing agencies.
