Credit risk has an integral part in the ongoing risk management of SMBC AC. The role will
provide general support to the credit risk team.
This role will suit a business graduate or a part qualified accountant, who would like to
develop a career in Credit Risk within the Aviation Industry.
Key Responsibilities include:




Financial Models – maintain credit models to ensure accurate credit grading of airline
customers
Risk systems – ensure internal systems accurately record counterparty exposure
Liaise will all internal departments to ensure all necessary information is collected in a
timely manner to prepare necessary approval documents (Front sheets, aircraft
valuations etc) for internal annual reviews and credit applications
In addition to the above requirements, the role will involve adhoc requests to support
demands from the business and credit risk team as required
Qualifications and Experience:

A third level qualification preferably with an emphasis in business or accounting
Critical Competencies:





Drive and determination with a ‘can-do’ attitude
Excellent numeracy skills
Strong time management with an ability and flexibility to work to deadlines
Self starter using own initiative but also a strong team player
Proficient in Excel
