MAC discussed a number of issues including:




Developments in the EU;
Developments in Northern Ireland;
Developments in the area of civil service reform; and
Preparations for the 2016 Commemorations and noted that RTÉ launched its
1916 centenary celebration event programme on 4 November.
In addition, MAC discussed a number of staffing issues and agreed the
following staff assignments:









Pauline Kiernan assigned as Assistant Principal to Protocol and General
Division;
Geraldine Butler assigned as Assistant Principal to the Finance Unit (Finance
Officer);
Emily Whelton assigned as Assistant Principal to Economic and
International Division;
David Lea assigned as Private Secretary to the Minister of State for
European Affairs and Data Protection;
Martin Cuffe assigned as Executive Officer to Economic and International
Division;
Megan O'Dowd assigned as Executive Officer to the Tánaiste's Office;
Bridget McManus assigned as Clercial Officer to the Taoiseach's
Constituency Office;
Marie Maguire assigned as Service Officer to Corporate Affairs Division;
and
Shamli Bogun assigned as Cleaner to Corporate Affairs Division.
