NEW TECHNOLOGY
OF MAGNESIUM PRODUCTION
PROJECT PURPOSE:
Organization of magnesium production on the territory of Armenia,
that is cheaper and more competitive, then analogs on the global
market.
In perspective – become the regional centre of the magnesium
production.
PROPOSAL TO INVESTOR
• 5 million USD to launch 1000 ton production
• Payback period 5 years
• 3 million USD annual profit after the 4th year
• Up to 40-70% of JV shares
(depending on Investor’s role in R&D funding)
CONTINUOUS BASALT FIBER PRODUCTION
Subject of the project is establishing of CBF and pultrusion structural
shapes and plates, decking and building panel systems and double
web beams (DWB) Plant on the base of ONIX GC Ltd., in Yerevan
and Hrazdan Cities, Armenia.
Objective of the project is creation of basalt processing facilities of high
technological level for manufacturing continuous basalt fiber and
construction production with use of natural basalt crushed stone.
The required investment amount for this project implementation will be
about USD 10.000.000,0.
Economical effectiveness of the project
Net present value of the project (calculated for $10M investment and 8
year loan without loan repayment included) is $24,8M at the
discount rate 10%.
Internal rate of return (IRR) is 53 %.
Payback period – 2 years and 4 months.
Average total cost of the final product (profiles) sales - $2,3 per kilo
Sale price of final product - $6 per kilo
Total amount invested so far in the project – up to $0,5M
