Fund Objective: The Sun Life Grepa (SLG) Bond Fund is offered as a fund option exclusive to Sun Grepa Power Builder 5 and 10, which are investment-linked life insurance products regulated by the Insurance Commission. The SLG Bond Fund is invested in high-quality fixed-income securities issued by the Philippine government and in highquality corporate debt securities issued by Philippine companies. Risk Profile: Top Fixed Income Holdings: Portfolio Mix Treasury Notes 2036, 24.77% Treasury Notes 2025, 14.69% Treasury Notes 2040, 10.35% Treasury Notes 2021, 9.01% Treasury Notes 2020, 8.21% *Portfolio Mix & Sector Allocation may shift depending on market conditions. How has the Fund performed? Market Review • Market starting to reevaluate the possibility of a BSP hike in 2017 following lower inflation expectations • PH May inflation was at 3.1% vs 3.3% expected • 10Y and 20Y re-issuance were oversubscribed and lower by about 7 bps from last month's auction • Q3 borrowing schedule released - 5Y, 7Y (2x), 10Y (2x) and 20Y Note: SLG Bond Fund has changed its benchmark from 95% HPLITR + 5% 30-day SSA to 95% BPHILR + 5% 30-day SSA effective April 29, 2016. HSBC, the current provider of HPLITR, opted to cease publication of the index, along with other HSBC indices, following a strategic review of the company. Invest wisely.
