There are THREE categories for admission within the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame
(BCEHOF) that are reviewed annually by the organizations’ Nominating Committee. Two
of these categories ( StarWalk and Pioneers) require an external nomination while the
third (Vancouver Favourites) is awarded through the discretion of the BCEHoF.
Qualifications
StarWalk Inductees
Past or Present residents of British Columbia who - through demonstrated excellence in their craft- have
made a significant impact on the cultural profile of the province.
Pioneers Inductees
Thought of as the “historical core” of our Province’s entertainment history, these inductees may have had
limited mainstream exposure outside of their specific craft but whose significant contributions are
exceedingly worthy of recognition.
In both of the above categories, external nominations must be made to the BCEHoF Nominating committee
by a published deadline. The committee is solely responsible for the screening, vetting and
recommendation of all potential nominees to the BCEHoF Board of Directors selection.
Vancouver Favourites
This Third category of recipient does not require an actual nomination but, rather, may be so acknowledged
at the discretion of the Board of Directors. Historically, this category has recognized those groups or
individuals who, while neither native-born nor residents of British Columbia, have demonstrated a longterm investment within the province’s entertainment industry.

Application:
.All Applications must include a non-refundable processing fee of $50.00 via cheque or money order made
payable to “B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame”. Please do not submit cash.
.In the case of all StarWalk nominees, should the nominee be selected for induction, the primary sponsor
listed agrees to guarantee payment of a tax deductible donation of $500.00 towards a portion of the costs
associated with the manufacture and installation of the recipients’ sidewalk recognition plaque. The
BCEHoF- a registered charitable society- assumes all other costs. This payment must be made prior to the
agreed-upon induction date.
. In the case of all Pioneer nominees, should the nominee be selected, there is no payment required from
the primary sponsor. The BCEHoF – a registered charitable society – assumes all costs.
.Through this application, the inductee agrees to be present at their scheduled induction ceremony.
Further, as a public event subject to media coverage, the inductee agrees to allow their name, picture,
image and/or likeness to be published as the BCEHoF sees fit.
.Unlike otherwise advised by the BCEHoF, all applications are valid for a period of Two (2) years from date
of receipt.
.”StarWalk” and all related and associated symbols are the intellectual property of the BCEHoF and may not
be used without the written permission of the organization. No third-party promotional activity may take
place without the expressed written consent of the BCEHoF

Nomination Procedures
.Without exception, all nominations must include the following elements
1. A signed, dated nomination form inclusive of all requested information, accompanied by the
requisite nomination fee
2. A signed acceptance letter by the nominee or his/her/their authorized representative(s)
3. An authorized high resolution photo of the nominee
4. An authorized thumbnail biography of the nominee (maximum 150 words) which can be
transcribed onto the BCEHoF website.
5. A longer-form biography for consideration by the nominating committee.
.Nomination deadlines will appear on the official BCEHOF website (bcentertainmenthalloffame.com) and
through our designated media partners.
.Nominations are considered once annually by a designated committee comprised of BCEHoF inductees and
board members.
.All applications and materials become the property of the BCEHOF. All decisions are final.
