We have installations of our PP, PVC fans at such facilities as Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, GE Global Research, Genentech, Honeywell, 3 M, Dupont, Dow Chemical, Dana Farber Cancer Research, Duke Medical, IBM facility of SUNY Albany, Eli Lilly, Siemens Water, GE Water, and Veolia. Total installations exceed 30,000. General Specification Description of CRDV 180-315 IPF/Colasit Fans are made according to ISO 9001-2000 and tested according to ISO 5801standards. This is the international standard for Air and Flow testing and is comparable to the rigor or the AMCA standards. IPF/Colasit polypropylene fans are made from polypropylene with a special additive from Simona of Germany. This material can be classified as flame retardant under the European standard DIN 4102 B1. (See enclosed sheet for more details on DIN 4102 B1.) The manufacturing process is vacumn formed thermoplastics which ensures more precise moldings of housing and impeller. There is no metal exposed in the air stream. The internal motor is effectively shielded by a corrosion resistant motor plate made from SS or PP at the buyers option. The inline and roof mounted fan series is available in only PPs and can be used in applications to temperatures up to 160-170 degrees. PPs is more flexible than PVC and therefore easier to work with and less prone to be damaged by installation or maintenance error. CRDV 200 which is the same housing used for the CRDV 180 CRDV 250 which is the same housing used for the CRDV 225 CRDV 315 which is the same housing used for the CRDV 280 These fans use the same heavy gauge radial impellers developed for our Utility Style Centrifugal fans. CRDV 180 has a radial impeller with flat blades. CRDV 200-315 have forward curved blades The CRDV comes with a 3 year warranty for the housing, impeller, with one year manufacturer’s warranty on the motor. Reinstallation expense is not covered. The CRDV comes with a 10 year warranty against UV degradation for fans on roof tops. THE CRDV series is a Direct Drive fan and can be used with Variable Frequency Drives or with control volume damper or gravity backdraft dampers. The CRDV series fans substantially exceed relevant statues for Noise levels at 3 meters as set by OSHA standards (Please request Sound Power and Sound Pressure for your application ). The CRDV series can be mounted with a wide range of motors that meet explosion and hazardous duty standards for UL, CSA, ATEX and other internationally recognized codes. The CRDV series can be supplied with inverter duty motors for use with Variable Frequency Drives. The CRDV series can be shipped with gravity backdraft dampers and or Adjustable quadrant dampers attached of shipped loose. A disconnect switch is standard equipment. A Polypropylene Curb Cover is available for roof mounted fans. Fan attaches to the roof curb cover by 3 SS bolts.
