The Wausau Conservatory of Music is seeking an inspiring Piano Faculty Teaching Artist
Job Title: Faculty Artist and Piano Instructor
Status: Part-Time with possibility of growing to full time.
Pay Rate: Commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
• Teaching private and group instruction. Teaching hours to include afternoons and evenings.
• Schedule students, schedule and organize studio recitals
• Participate in Conservatory events; Open House and student recitals, etc.
• Perform general faculty responsibilities according to the guidelines listed in the Faculty
Handbook including: registration paperwork, attendance records and faculty meetings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
• Masters of Music in Piano Performance degree with emphasis in pedagogy and performance.
• Previous teaching experience required. 2+ years of teaching private studio preferred
• The ability to work with students of all ages, especially young students
• Dedication to working in a collaborative professional environment in a first-rate Community
music school
