Casey Coffman
Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Development
The Madison Square Garden Sports
Casey Coffman is Senior Vice President, corporate strategy and development for The
Madison Square Garden Company, where she oversees the company's strategic
priorities and initiatives and helps drive the company's continued focus on growth
across all of its businesses. Coffman is responsible for coordinating existing and new
corporate projects, initiating and developing new global business opportunities,
directing company-wide development efforts, overseeing the business aspects of major corporate
transactions and assisting in the evaluation of new corporate opportunities.
Coffman previously served as Executive Vice President, business development and operations for MSG
Sports. In that role, she oversaw the day-to-day operational needs of the MSG Sports business, including
the New York Knicks, New York Rangers, New York Liberty, as well as the Sports Properties area,
which includes the presentation of a wide variety of live sporting events including college basketball,
boxing and tennis. In addition, she explored new opportunities for growth within the existing core MSG
Sports business.
Before joining The Madison Square Garden Company, Coffman spent 10 years at Hicks Holdings LLC
and Hicks Sports Group LLC. She served as Chief Operating Officer, providing day-to-day oversight for
the company’s sports teams’ business operations, which included Texas Rangers, the Dallas Stars, and a
50 percent ownership of the Liverpool Football Club. She also represented the company as a director of
Center Operating Company, which operates the American Airlines Center, and provided day-to-day
oversight of the Hicks family’s sports-related real estate developments.
Previously, Coffman was Senior Division Counsel to The Minute Maid Company at The Coca-Cola
Company. During her nine-year tenure at Coca-Cola, she worked in Oslo, Bangkok and Singapore, and
was involved in key transactions involving Major League Baseball, the National Football League and
the Olympics. Earlier in her career, she clerked for the Honorable John Cornyn on the Texas Supreme
Court.
Coffman is a board member of Women’s World Banking and is involved in Big Brothers Big Sisters of
America. In 2009, she was named a Woman to Watch by the Dallas Business Journal. Coffman received
her J.D. from University of Texas.

Max Miller

Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel
Max Miller joined Big Brothers Big Sisters of America in October of 2010 as
the Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, and Board Treasurer. In
this role he manages legal matters for the organization and oversees IT, HR,
Diversity and Finance operations.
Miller comes to the organization from the University of Pittsburgh School of
Law where he served as founding Director of the Innovation Practice Institute
(IPI). His primary duties there included strategic program direction, design and
execution, curricular development, market research and competitive analysis, and sourcing of funding
for adjunct faculty resources and operating costs. The IPI focuses on bringing the innovation culture to
the study and practice of law.
Miller spent three years in operational (supply chain and logistics) and marketing (Ketchup brand
management) roles with H.J. Heinz Company where he managed various cross-functional project teams
and product initiatives. During the previous nine years, he served as Corporate Counsel for H.J. Heinz
Company handling various domestic and international transactions for five years, and as an attorney for
Federated Investors where he focused on general corporate and securities law for four years.
Miller has been committed to serving children in crisis through his involvement on the board of Kid's
Voice, and to community development in his service on the board of the Kingsley Association.
Miller holds a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania; a JD from the University of
Pittsburgh and an MBA from Kellogg School of Management. He is an attorney licensed to practice law
in Pennsylvania.
