The Asian Securities and Investment Federation (ASIF) along with the Financial Services Institute
of Australasia (Finsia) are launching our inaugural Indian-Pacific Finance Forum, an event created to
connect the regional finance community.
The aim of the forum is to provide a voice to finance professionals in an emergent region that stretches
from India to Japan and across Asia-Pacific. This forum will feature a keynote presentation from,
Dr. Jayant Menon, Lead Economist at Asian Development Bank, followed by an in-depth panel discussion
about opportunities in the market.
The forum will cover significant developments including the rise of
the RMB and its role as a global trade currency, China’s equity market
and regulatory environment, as well as the establishment of the Asian
Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).
Recognising India as an emerging leader in finance, the forum will
discuss the progress of Modi’s economic reforms in the two years
since being elected. Equally as vital to the discussion, is the
Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Free Trade
Agreement and financial integration within the region.
We've brought together a diverse panel of professionals with global
expertise and varied backgrounds. You won't want to miss this
interactive discussion about a wide range of topics that are impacting
the economic landscape of the region today and their significant
implications for the future.
