I approach these questions by integrating field-based measurements, computational models, and spatial analysis. Snow can vary considerably across time and space, and employing multiple techniques allows me to frame my research at local to regional scales. Stepping outside the research community, I have first-hand experience working directly with natural resource managers, social scientists, educators, and the public to help distill scientific insights into an applied understanding of cryosphere’s role in science and society. 1 of 2 PUBLICATIONS: Sproles, E.A., Leibowitz, S.G., Wigington, P.J., Reager, J.T., Famiglietti, J.S., Patil, S.D.; (submitted), GRACE storage-streamflow hystereses reveal the dynamics of regional watersheds, Geophys.
