SSI 2017 | 44TH ANNUAL MEETING OF THE SCANDINAVIAN SOCIETY OF IMMUNOLOGY, 17-20 OCTOBER, STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN ABSTRACT INSTRUCTIONS Participants are invited to submit 1-page abstracts no later than 30th of April 2017. A word template is provided and can be downloaded at www.ssi2017.se. It is mandatory to write the abstract according to the template. The program includes plenty of opportunities for oral and poster presentations. Topics and Keywords Participants are invited to submit abstracts to one of the following 4 topics: Basic immunology, Tumor immunology, Autoimmunity and Immunotherapy. In the registration form, you must also specify the subcategory (keyword) that best fits in with your submitting abstract. A = BASIC IMMUNOLOGY B = TUMOR IMMUNOLOGY A - Innate immunity A - Adaptive immunity A - Cytokines A - Genomics and proteomics A - Mucosal immunity B - Tumor environment B - Cellular interactions B - Immune escape B - Clinical C = AUTOIMMUNITY D = IMMUNOTHERAPY C - Genomics and proteomics C - Cellular C - Humoral C - Clinical D - Cancer D - Autoimmunity D - Cell therapy D - Antibody-based therapies Writing Guidelines 1. The given template must be used and can be downloaded. Follow the instructions on the template and do not modify it. 2. Abstracts must be written in English. 3. Sub-headings (e.g. Introduction, Methods, Results etc) may be included within the word limit. 4. The maximum number of words in the abstract body text is 250. 5. References can be included in the abstract but should be part of the main body text and within the word limit. 6. Papers should be submitted as one single pdf file. Please note the way to name the file. Before you submit and upload your abstract ensure that you have: 1. Corresponding author details (first and last name, University, Department, telephone, e-mail, Country) 2. the abstract file saved as a pdf, and named according to the instruction: SSI17_”last name_first name”.pdf - e.g. SSI17_Adamson_Anna.pdf 3.
