1. Digestive System- breaks down the food you eat
2. Respiratory System- is the group of tissues and organs in your body that allow you to breathe.
3. Circulatory System- The complex system in our body that transports needed materials and
eliminates wastes.
4. Muscular System- is the set of organs that are able to create skeletal movement.
5. Skeletal System- The framework of the body, consisting of bones and other connective tissues,
which protects and supports the body tissues and internal organs.
6. Cardiovascular System- the organs and tissues involved in circulating blood and lymph through
the body.
7. Heart- The organ in your chest that pumps blood all through your body.
8. Blood- the red fluid that circulates in the heart, arteries, capillaries, and veins of persons and
animals and that brings nourishment and oxygen to and carries away waste products from all
parts of the body.
9. Blood vessel- One of the narrow tubes in your body through which your blood flows.
10. Nose- the part of the face or head through which a person or animal smells and breathes
11. Trachea- 1. the tube that carries air to the lungs in humans and other animals that breathe
air; windpipe. definition 2: a similar tube in an insect, or a tube that carries water up the stems
of some plants.
12. Lungs- either of two organs in the chest that are like bags and are the main breathing structure
in animals that breathe air.
13. Bone- One of the hard, white parts that make up the skeleton of a person or an animal.
14. Muscle- One of the parts of your body that produces movement. Your muscles are attached to
your skeleton and pull on your bones to make them move.
15. Esophagus- the tube that leads from the mouth through the throat to the stomach
16. Stomach- the organ in your body where food goes and begins to be digested after you swallow it
17. Intestines- the lower part of the digestive canal that is a long tube made up of the
small intestine and large intestine and in which most of the digestion and absorption of food
occurs and through which waste material passes to be discharge
