SECRETS TO A GOOD
“
The strength of the team is each individual member.
The strength of each member is the
coming together is a beginning
keeping together is progress
working together is
is strength...when there is teamwork and
collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved
“To achieve is to work hard and priorities right. Do things in right
order, and you will achieve. You must give something to get
something”.
When a gifted team dedicates itself to
unselfish
and combines instinct
with boldness and effort, it is ready to climb.
Individual
to a group
effort- that is what makes a Team work, a
company work, a society work, a civilization
work.
The
of
every team work is to
build a feeling of oneness,
of dependence on one
another
because
the
question is usually not
how well each persons
performs, but how well
they work together.
There are five elements of a successful teams:
1. SHARED VISION
If the group doesn’t agree on the
destination, you’re unlikely to make
it there.
Make sure before
beginning that there is a consensus
on the goals of the group, and how
to achieve them.
2.
CLEAR AND CONTINUOUS COMMUNICATION
Don’t spam people’s inboxes, but regular
communication can possibly head off any potential
issues, or at minimum allow you to get ahead of
them.
3.
DIVERSITY OF CAPABILITIES
Teams that possess a wide range of professional
competencies can be more fully equipped to meet a
wide range of challenges. When building teams,
take time to ensure that each team member
possesses skills and strengths that complement the
skills, strengths and weaknesses of other team
members.
4.
CREATIVE FREEDOM
All team members should feel free to think
creatively--to try new things and fail without the
fear of consequences. This aspect of teamwork
brings together all of the other elements for
effective teamwork.
5.
COMMITMENT AND TRUST
All members of a high-impact team must be fully
committed to achieving the team's mission and
goals. Each member must devote a reasonable
amount of time and energy to advancing the team's
mission and must be able to trust that all other
team members are doing the same.
EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT
“Over 90% of employee engagement, motivation & productivity can be
improved by the individual employees themselves-it’s just that until now
most haven’t known how”.
“Engagement is the state of emotional and intellectual commitment to an
organization-the degree to which you have captured the hearts and minds
of your employees”.
FEELING OF
SAFETY
Is the hardest thing to find and the easiest
thing to lose.
Some tips for building trust on team:
1.
GET RID OF FEAR
“The only way to get
rid of the fear of
doing something is to
go out and do it”.
2.
STOP BLAMING
“When you think everything is
someone else’s fault, you will
suffer a lot. When you realize that
everything springs only from
yourself, you will learn both peace
and joy.”
3.
BE A ROLE MODEL
“Whether you choose to be or
not, you are a role model and
so you feel a special burden to
perform well.”
“Being a role model is a privilege”.
“Women generally perform better in terms
of social sensitivity, which makes women
more valuable in the workplace".
If you want an effective team
