APPLICATIONS ENGINEER, RF (BASED IN SINGAPORE) Responsibilities Liaise with sales and customer to gain in-depth understanding on requirement and propose NI based solution (design and prototype) to meet customer’s needs Work closely with sales to provide advance pre-and post-sales support for key accounts Lead and drive to resolve complex/critical/potential support issues Conduct training for NI platform/RF product line Develop technical content such as training material and white paper Research on latest relevant technologies/wireless protocol such as 5G, 802.11ah, software defined radio, signal intelligence and electronic warfare Prerequisites Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or Communications Systems Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Communications/Test and Measurement sector Deep understanding of digital signal processing, communication theory and RF systems architecture Experience in designing and implementing communication systems based on FPGA/DSP/simulation Good knowledge in wireless protocol research/test project Proficient with NI PXI instruments and software preferably Certified LabVIEW Developer (CLD) and/or Certified TestStand Developer (CTD) Strong computer skills and software engineering/programming skills, with knowledge of C, C++, C#, LabVIEW and TestStand Experience in software radios (SDRs) will be an added advantage Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) Meticulous, independent and efficient in executing and overseeing assigned projects Willing to travel Applicants must be results-oriented, customer-focused and be able to work both independently and in a team; possess good initiative and can-do attitude; as well as good interpersonal, communication, presentation and writing skills.
