Dangerous Goods Awareness and Aviation Security Training
Description:
Dangerous Goods Awareness
Flight Deck Crew
A half day course designed to provide knowledge and understanding of the rules governing
the carriage of dangerous goods, identification of the hazards involved and the normal and
emergency procedures applicable to air transport. Concludes with an examination.
Cabin Crew
A half day course designed to provide knowledge and understanding of the rules governing
the carriage of dangerous goods by passengers, identification of the hazards involved and the
normal and emergency procedures applicable to air transport. Concludes with an
examination.
* Recurrent training is required within 24 months of any previous training.
Aviation Security
Initial
This one day course is to enable aircrew to be aware of the elements of the Aviation Security
Programme which has a direct influence on their duties as Flight Deck or Cabin Crew.
Refresher
This course is designed to reinforce the knowledge gained from the initial course and to
review new developments in the field of aviation security.
* Refresher training is required within 12 months of any previous training.
