The Importance of Development, Communication, and Learning in Teams
Introduction:
Working in teams is one of the most important skills that each student and employee
must have it. Most of the assignments whether in schools, universities and
organizations required teamwork. To be an effective member in team that required
some important skills. So, the importance of development, communication, and team
learning are the main concept or skills that each student or employee must know.
However, the outline for this assignment is introduction, importance of team
development, effective training principles, stages in team development,
communication in teams, team learning and conclusion.
Importance of team development
Teams are becoming a key tool to enhance the efficiency of an organizations. Teams
development create a good work environment "by encouraging co-operation,
teamwork, interdependence and by building trust among team members"(1). An
example of team development, if there is negative emotional tone between some team
members how can they translate this feelings in a good way to enhance the efficiency
of team. This example explain the team development very well because it shows how
can the members of group overcome their own problems for the sake of team.

Effective Training Principles:
Each team must build depending in some effective principle. To design, developed
and support a good teams that need members of teams to set some guidelines. In my
opinion, teams need seven principles to be an effective team. Set a clear goals, set a
clear objective, mechanism of group, time for the each assignment, role of group
leader, role of each team member and planning are the main principles that team need.
An example of effective training principles, when the organization ask the group of
consultant to meet and give some advice in any case the consultant must gather and
read the case carefully then set goals, objective, mechanism, the time to respond to
organization, role of leader, role of each member and planning for each part of the
work.

Stages in Team Development
There are five stages involved in team development. Forming, storming, norming,
performing and transforming are the stages involved in team development. Forming is
when a group of people gathering because they sharing same purpose. Storming
"disagreement about mission, vision, and approaches combined with the fact that team
members are getting to know each other can cause strained relationships and conflict".
Norming is formed work relations between team members make team going forward
in team objective. Performing is the stage when the communication between team
member become stronger and the team effectiveness reach a good level and this is
synching to bring about a successfully functioning team. Transforming is the stage
when the team member performing well and they feel they are the best successful
team they have experienced. A real life example, when the group of students have a
group assignment so, they gather because they have same purpose (forming) then they
start planning by disagreement in some vision and approach (storming) after that they
start to build a relationships between each other to make team going forward in team
objective (norming) then by communicate between each other they reach their goals
by having a good assignment and transfer this in a good performing in front of class
(performing and transforming).

Communication in Teams:
Communication between team members is the most important skills that each member
of team must have it. When the team member communicate effectively with the team
that can improve the efficiency of a team and can eliminates confusion and miss
understanding between team members. Also, communicate with team can create a
good workplace environment. Communicate between team members can be by
emails, phone and by scheduled meetings. A real life example, when students have
group assignment they must attend each scheduled meetings and have the team
member emails and phone numbers to overcome communication problem.

Team Learning:
Team learning is provide a suitable solution for business problem by asking critical
questions in those problems. This kind of problem can’t found in books it’s come
from teams and that can be a real meaning of team learning. A real life example of
team learning, when the team have communication problem or weakness point they
must ask leader or manager a suitable questions to solve this problem.
