Both or one of the parents of the minor applicant live in the Republic of Lithuania
and have a permit to reside in the Republic of Lithuania
(Art. 43.1.2 of the Law on the Legal Status of Aliens)
An application to replace a temporary permit to reside in the Republic of Lithuania of the established
form;
A valid travel document (passport);
A temporary residence permit;
One photo matching the age of the applicant;
The permanent residence permit of one of the parents and documents proving the authenticity of the
family ties;
or
Documents confirming that one of the parents has lived in the Republic of Lithuania for the last 2 years
and has a temporary residence permit that is valid for at least one year; documents confirming the parent’s
reasonable prospects to gain the right to permanently reside in the Republic of Lithuania, and documents
proving the authenticity of the family ties;
or
Documents confirming that the minor applicant arrives accompanied by one of the parents, who applies
for a temporary residence permit on grounds provided by in Art. 40.1.41, 40.1.51 or Art. 40.1.13, or the
temporary residence permit of one of the parents is issued on the grounds provided by in Art. 40.1.4 1, 40.1.51
or Art. 40.1.13., and documents proving the authenticity of the family ties;
or
Documents confirming that the minor applicant arrives accompanied by one of the parents who applies for
a temporary residence permit on grounds provided by in Art. 40.1.14 and fulfils the condition stipulated in
Art. 43.6.3. or the temporary residence permit of one of the parents is issued on the grounds provided by in
Art. 40.1.14. and documents proving the authenticity of the family ties;
or
Documents confirming that the minor applicant arrives accompanied by one of the parents specified in
Art. 43.6.4. or the temporary residence permit of one of the parents is issued on the grounds provided by in
Art. 43.6.4.; documents confirming that the person arrived to participate in a traineeship at higher education
and research institutions of the Republic of Lithuania under international treaties of the Republic of
Lithuania or under the European Union academic exchange programmes with third countries, and
documents proving the authenticity of the family ties;
or
Documents confirming that the minor applicant arrives accompanied by one of the parents specified in
Art. 43.6.5. or the temporary residence permit one of the parents specified in Art. 43.6.5.; documents
confirming that the person, by directly participating in projects of state importance, has invested owned,
borrowed or entrusted assets in the Republic of Lithuania, and documents proving the authenticity of the
family ties;
or
Documents confirming that the minor applicant arrives accompanied by one of the parents, who applies
for a temporary residence permit on grounds provided by in Art. 45.1.1, Art. 45.1.2, Art. 45.1. 21 or Art.
45.1.22 or the temporary residence permit of one of the parents is issued on the grounds provided by in 45.1.1,
45.1.2, Art. 45.1.21 or Art. 45.1.22, and documents proving the authenticity of the family ties;
or

Documents confirming that the minor applicant arrives accompanied by one of the parents specified in
Art. 43.6.7., or the temporary residence permit of one of the parents specified in clause Art. 43.6.7. is issued
on the grounds provided by in Art. 44.1.2., a document confirming that during the period of working in the
Republic of Lithuania the person will be paid a wage comprising at least 2 average wage amounts before
taxation of the economy workers of the country recently published by Statistics Lithuania, documents proving
the authenticity of the family ties;
A document confirming that the applicant has sufficient funds (e.g., a statement of one of the parents’
bank account) and (or) receives regular income (e.g., an employment agreement of one of the parents’) to
live in the Republic of Lithuania, which amounts to at least the subsistence amount for living in the
Republic of Lithuania established by the Minister of Social Security and Labour of the Republic of
Lithuania;
A document confirming that the applicant has accommodation where he/she intends to declare the
residence and which is owned by ownership right or rent, or gratuitous use, if the respective agreement
has been concluded for a period no shorter than the validity of the temporary residence permit and is
registered according to the established procedure, or if there is an obligation confirmed according to the
procedure stipulated in the legal acts and issued by a natural person or a legal entity to provide the
applicant with suitable accommodation where the applicant will declare his/her residence;
A list of foreign states that the applicant has visited and (or) where the applicant has lived during the
validity period of the current temporary residence permit;
A document confirming applicant’s health insurance that covers urgent medical care costs and costs
that may occur because of applicant‘s return to a foreign state due to the health causes (transportation,
including personal health care specialist (specialists) escort), and shall be valid during the period of
applicant‘s stay or residence in the Republic of Lithuania or a document confirming that the applicant
has compulsory health insurance in cases stipulated in the Law on Health Insurance of the Republic of
Lithuania (these documents may be submitted when applying for a temporary residence permit);
the applicant is older than 16 years of age).
