strategies to determine the sample
space for an event. Include lists, tree
diagrams, frequency distribution
tables, permutations, combinations,
and the Fundamental Counting
Principle.

(Engage)Bell Ringer and Read 1 chapter from SUMMER OF THE
MONKEYS.
(Explain)-The teacher and TA will deliver instruction on making an
organized list.
(Exploration)-The teacher and students will discuss making an
organized list using power point 10-3 and the smart board.
(Evaluation)-Students will work in pairs to complete the practice
problems 11-4 (6th) and 10-3 (7th).
(Extension)- Teacher and students will review the lesson using
classscape problems. Students will use Study Island, Success Maker,
and Accelerated math for review and practice.

classscape problems. Students will use Study Island, Success Maker,
and Accelerated math for review and practice.
(Engage)- Bell Ringer and Read 1 chapter from SUMMER OF THE
MONKEYS.
(Explain)-The teacher and TA will review vocabulary and introduce
Theoretical Probability.
(Exploration)-Teacher and TA will discuss with the students
Theoretical Probability using the power point 10-4.
(Evaluation)-Students will work independently or with a partner and
will solve the practice problems on pp. 564-567 (6th) and pp. 524-527
