Dear Applicant
Thank you for your interest in our vacancy. As part of an excellent reward package created to
recruit and retain high calibre staff, we’re offering the successful candidate for this particular
nursing post a ‘golden hello’ into the Trust after you have joined us.
The following explains the scheme in a little more detail;

The amount paid would be £2000 for a full time post and pro-rated for a part time post
based on the percentage of hours for that post against those of a full time post. To
qualify for the payment you will need to have a minimum of 12 months post
registration acute hospital experience.

You’d receive the amount as a one off payment in your salary as soon as possible
following successful completion of your probationary period and it would be subject to
the usual Tax and NI deductions.

In joining the Organisation, we would hope that you will have chosen as carefully as
us and would plan to stay here for the longer term. Therefore, the ‘golden hello’ would
only be repayable on a pro-rated basis either through your final salary or via an
invoice raised by the Trust if you left us within an 18 month period following
successful completion of your probationary period.
