Developmental Program Format
Developmental I: (Ages 4-6) Tuesday & Thursday 4:15 –5 PM Developmental
Academy One will focus on the participant’s ability to move with balance and coordination.
There will be a strong emphasis on building agility, while developing the on-court skills necessary
to rally, and keep score. Participants will engage in fun games that will encourage sportsmanship
and competitiveness. Prior to graduating to the next class, players will show the ability to
maintain technique during rallies.
[8 Classes] September 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, 26
Fee: $120
Developmental II: (Ages 7-10) Tuesday & Thursday 4-5 PM
Developmental Academy Two will focus on the participant’s ability to move with balance and
coordination. This class will maintain an emphasis on building the athletic base for each player.
Players in this group will begin to develop an understanding of shot placement, and depth. We
will emphasize movements forward for short balls, and backwards for deep balls. Competitive
point play will be utilized in a half court setting. This will develop the skill of directional hitting.
Prior to graduating, players will show the ability to maintain technique while rallying with their
peers.

Developmental III:(Ages 11-14) Tuesday & Thursday 5-6 PM
Developmental Academy Three will focus on the development of forehand and backhand topspin,
while progressing the proper service technique. Players will have the ability to show tennis
specific footwork patterns (cross-over, side shuffle, Spanish footwork, flowing split step).
Players will also have an increased understanding of how to construct points. The ability to
move the ball and the recognition of open court space will be strongly developed.

Fee: $120
High School Training (Ages 13-18)
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 4-5:30 PM
This class is for students whose goal is to play High School tennis or already play JV level.
Emphasis will be on proper technique, footwork and constructing points.
[12 Classes] September 4; 6; 9; 11; 13; 16; 18; 20; 23; 25; 27; 30. Fee: $252
