Seating assignments for each round will be random and determined by using the Bravo tournament watch
software. If for some reason the system is down, then seating assignments will be determined through random
card selection.
10.
During each round of play, any ties will be broken by dealing additional hands until one player has more chips
than the other player. Note: Each hand must be completed before the chips are counted and a winner is declared.
11.
Each tournament player will be issued $500 in tournament chips at the start of each round.
12.
Tournament chips may not be removed from the table and can not be concealed.
13.
Tournament chips may not be shared or given to any other player.
14.
Any decision on how to bet, or how to play, must be solely that of the player. No communication, verbal or visual
will be permitted between spectators or players. The Dealer may advise the player of his or her options but will
not make any recommendations.
15.
Unless otherwise stated, Diamond Jo Casino standard rules of Blackjack will apply.
16.
All winning blackjack hands dealt during tournament will be paid 2 to 1 odds.
17.
The dealing sequence will begin by placing the puck at the gaming position number seven, located immediately
to the right of the dealer and the dealing will begin at first base and will continue by moving the puck
sequentially from gaming position number seven to gaming position number one (left to right), and then repeated
until all hands are dealt. Betting will follow this same sequence.
18.
If the dealing sequence is dealt out of position, the floorperson will be called and the hand backed up to the spots
as if the dealing sequence had been correctly dealt. The cards will not be backed up for any other reason.
19.
Players must bet a minimum of $5 up to a maximum of $500 on each hand dealt.
20.
Once a bet is placed, it cannot be removed or changed.
21.
Players are expected to make decisions about their wagers and hand decisions in a reasonable amount of time. At
the floor persons discretion “Time” may be called on a player which will force a player to make their decision in
the amount of time of thirty seconds (:30). If the decision was not made on a wager amount, the player will be
forced to wager a table minimum bet of $5.00.
22.
There will be fifteen (15) white chips placed atop each table to keep track of the number of hands dealt. After
each hand is completed, one of the chips will be removed from the table and placed in the bank tray.
23.
Each player’s chips will be counted and announced after the 12th hand has been played.
24.
At the conclusion of each session or round consisting of fifteen (15) hands, the dealer will count the players’
chips. The floorperson will verify the count and determine who advances.
25.
If a player leaves their assigned table during the course of play, they will have voluntarily withdrawn from the
tournament. At the conclusion of a round the players must wait until the dealer has counted their chips, before
leaving the table.

At the beginning of each qualifying round and final round, semi-final round not included, players at the tables
will be dealt one bonus round of blackjack to play for promotional chips and Joker cards.
This round will consist of one hand dealt deck consisting of 52 cards and two joker cards. Any player or dealer
receiving a joker card during bonus round will treat that card as an ACE.
Each player will get one card dealt face up and one card face down. The first player card will be face down the
second player card will be face up. The dealer will receive three cards face down, the third card being dealt right
after the second card. These cards will remain separate from each other. At this juncture, the dealer will turn their
first card and offer players the option to surrender, winning FIVE DOLLARS in promo chips and retaining any
hidden joker card. After everyone acts on their hands, the dealer will expose their second card and anyone
choosing to surrender will receive FIVE DOLLARS in promo chips but lose any hidden joker cards. After
everyone has acted on their hands the dealer will expose their third card. The dealer will take their two highest
cards and discard the lowest. The dealer will then expose the card that is face down for any remaining players. If
the player loses but has a Joker card in their hand or they push the dealer’s hand they receive TEN DOLLARS in
promo chips. If the player’s hand defeats the dealers cards they will win TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS in promo
chips. If a player wins with a total of 21 they win FIFTY DOLLARS in promo chips. If a player wins with a total
of 21 and one of those cards is a Joker, they win ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS in promo chips. If a player
receives both jokers they automatically win TWO HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS in promo chips.
If a player receives a joker card, win or lose, they will retain that card with their tournament chips after play is
completed unless they surrendered during the dealer’s second card exposure.
During the tournament round it was won, at the end of any hand during tournament play, a player may use their
joker card, by tossing it in front of the dealer, to pronounce a misdeal. In the event this occurs, all chips lost are
restored for all players and all chips won are refunded to the dealer. This event does not count as a round and it is
redealt. The joker is removed from play.
If a player does not use their joker card before losing all their tournament chips, the card is null and void. The
joker card is non-transferrable between players.
If two different players have Joker cards, one player may use his Joker card to cancel the actions of another
player’s Joker card.
