Sealed tenders are invited for purchase 1) GA-07-C-6673 (Maruti Alto) and GA-07-C-0930
(Hyudai Getz) of the Corporation on “ As is where is basis”. Interested tenderers may refer
EDC website www.edc-goa.com for tender documents.
The interested parties could also obtain tender documents till 30.06.2017 from Dy. General
Manager (Engg.) EDC Ltd. The tenderers should remain present for the tender opening on
03.07.2017 at 3.30 p.m. and participate in the auction thereafter. The right to accept or reject all
or any tenders is reserved by the EDC Ltd.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. The offers invited are for purchase of following vehicle:

2. The tenderers to give their offers for each vehicle separately.
3. The vehicle will be available for inspection on working days between
10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with prior appointment till 30.06.2017 at EDC
House, Panaji, Goa.
4. The tenderers should be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit (EMD)
of Rs.5000/- by Demand Draft for each vehicle separately in favour of
EDC LIMITED payable at Panaji, Goa. The EMD will be refunded to
unsuccessful tenderers without interest. If the offer is accepted by the
Corporation and the successful tenderer does not come forward to
accept the same or does not pay quoted amounts or tenderers do not
keep tenders open for validity period, the amount deposited towards
Earnest Money shall be forfeited. The tenders not accompanies by EMD
will be rejected.
5. The tenders submitted shall not be withdrawn and shall remain valid for
a period of three months from the date of opening of tenders.
6. The offers in the prescribed form in sealed covers should be superscribed
as “Offers for purchase of vehicle GA-07-C-6673 (Maruti Alto) and GA07-C-0930 (Hyundai Getz) of EDC Ltd. and submit to EDC Ltd., Dr.
Atmaram Borkar Road, Panaji, Goa 403001 on or before 1.00 p.,m. on
03.07.2017. The tenders will be opened at 3.30 p.m. on 03.07.2017 in
the presence of tenderers who should remain present for subsequent
auction among bidders.
7. The offer should be on cash down basis, it shall be inclusive of VAT.
8. The successful tenderer will have to pay entire sale consideration (after
adjusting EMD) within 30 days of the date of letter of acceptance of the
offer.
9. In the event of default in payment of above amounts, EDC Limited shall
forfeit the payments made by the successful tenderer and cancel the bid
without prejudice to its other rights. EDC Limited will levy interest
@14% p.a. for the delayed period subject to maximum delay of one
month.
10. Transfer fee and also insurance, for period starting from date of
acceptance of bid will have to be settled by the purchaser himself
independent of his offer. The Registration charges, typing charges
required for the transaction will be borne by the purchaser.
11. The rates shall be quoted in words as well as in figures. In case of
discrepancy between the two, the rates in words will prevail over the
figures.
12. The tenderers are required to sign on all the pages of tender form which
should be completed in all respects and submitted as an offer.
13. The tenderers are required to verify the vehicle and the conditions of the
vehicle to their satisfaction before submitting the tender.
14. Tenderers with conditional offer will be treated as invalid by EDC
Limited.
15. The EDC Limited reserves the right to accept or reject any offer/offers
without assigning any reason/s. In case, all the offers are rejected,
either to hold negotiations with any of the tenderers or sell the assets
through private negotiations with any of the tenderers or other
party/parties.
16. The item is being sold on “As is where is basis”.
17. The EDC Limited will execute transfer documents only after entire
accepted offer amount is received. The assets will not be handed over to
the successful tenderer until the agreement for transfer or transfer
document is signed with EDC Ltd.
18. Permissions, approvals consents etc. from Goa RTO or any other
authorities will have to be taken by the purchaser in connection with this
sale at his cost.
19. The tenderers shall quote not less than offset price value. The tenders
quoted below the offset price value shall be rejected outright and EMD
furnished by such tenderers shall be forfeited.
