Set Design Rubric: Grade Level A: -Design is well thought out, effective choices made and demonstrated through style, scale, color, historical, and environmental accuracy -Superior effort, workmanship, and construction -Design is historically accurate and researched -Style is clearly defined and presented -All requirements for the script are met -Model is built in scale -Presentation is clear and concise and concepts are well articulated -Visually reinforces the plays story and themes -Creative, imaginative, and effectively creates mood, tone, atmosphere and style Grade Level B: -Some thought and choices are made and demonstrated through style, scale, color, historical, and environmental accuracy -Good effort, workmanship, and construction -Design is mostly historically accurate and researched -Style is defined but not all elements agree with style -All major requirements for the script are met -Model is mostly in scale -Presentation covers major points -Visually reinforces most of the plays story and themes -Somewhat effectively creates mood, tone, atmosphere and style Grade Level C: -Not much thought or choices are made and demonstrated through style, scale, color, historical, and environmental accuracy -Very little effort, workmanship, and construction -Design is barely historically accurate and researched -Style is clearly defined -Some requirements for script are met.
