Findlay Show Tail Source has offered to pay for hotdogs for exhibitors at the Findlay show. Peter Thornton moved that, if needed, Ohio Pinto provide chips, buns, condiments and paper products for the get-together. Appropriate timing for serving was discussed. We would prefer to avoid conflict with the food stand during meal times. The matter was tabled until Megan Herner discusses details and timing with Raelyne Hrbac. Schneiders Tack is providing high point awards for the Findlay show. Paint/Pinto combined show Ohio Paint is still working on their part of the program. PtHAO understands that Paint plans to expand their part of the program, including the addition of solid Paint bred classes. The Paint club hopes to approve the final show bill at their March 13 meeting. Pattern Books A committee composed of Celeste England-Ziarko, Betty Jo Hickman, and Megan Herner will work on the pattern book via email. Charitable Donation Peter Thornton and Betty Jo Hickman moved that PtHAO donate $100 to Last Chance Corral. The motion carried. Advertising Shelly Nalle-Isenhouer shared the information that an offer has been made to donate designing services for an advertisement in the Corral. The group identified information that should be included in the advertisement. Peter Thornton and Betty Jo Hickman moved to authorize Shelly to proceed with the development of a one-time, half-page advertisement in the Corral. The amount allocated for the advertisement and color copies for use in promotions was $250. The motion carried. Promotions Shelly shared information about the cost of the T-shirts we are planning to make available at the Findlay show. The cost to the club will be $5.95 per shirt, provided we order at least 100. Each exhibitor at the show will be given a shirt. Those shirts not needed for the give-away program will be made available to those who want them at a cost of $10.00. It was generally agreed that income from the sale of shirts will be assigned to marketing and promotions rather than earmarked for other purposes. It is possible that income from the promotions/advertising programs will balance their expenses. It was generally agreed that the club would pay for shipping of materials donated to PtHAO for promotions. An invoice for $16.55 for Mrs. Pastures Cookies was presented. Betty Jo Hickman and Tammy Braden moved that it be paid. The motion carried. UPCOMING MEETING: The budget meeting and next set of regular meetings will be held on March 13 at Panera Bread in Medina. The Officers and Directors meeting will begin at 9:00AM. ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 3:25PM.
